lp could not get over this place, so she went back the next day.
cindy was unbearably sweet and generous enough to cover the cost of her sandwich, being her first time trying the foods.
the cost of lp’s meal: 3.55$

it may not look like a lot, but it is definitely fulfilling.
on the left, homegrown sandwich, passion fruit green tea. on the right, flaming bird sandwich, milk tea.
the homegrown sandwich was the perfect choice for lunch on these lenten fridays-meat free and delicious. between two slices of toasted wheat bread, it’s stacked with a light cream cheese spread, alfalfa sprouts, avocados, cucumbers, tomato, lettuce and for that slight nutty flavor and a crunch, sunflower seeds. it was simply the perfect combination. it also comes with your choice of pasta or mixed greens. the pasta is drizzled with a tangy vinaigrette – delicious!
the flaming bird sandwich stayed true to its name. although spicy, it did not go to waste. what lies generously between two slices of sourdough bread is mustard, mayo, a chili pepper spread, turkey, tomato, cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts, and onions. a friend of lp states, “it did not look like it would fill me up…but i’m full. and even though i can’t handle spicy foods i couldn’t stop eating it…until i finished my milk tea…then i asked for a cup of water.” he was definitely satisfied.
the price for the quality:
loose teas at ~7.50$ vs. corner bakery at ~7$
lp’s opinion?
loose tea’s quality, variety > corner bakery quality, variety
